Disappearance of Collargol-I^(131) and Evans blue from the Circulation in the RES-stimulated, blocked end Splenectomized Rabbits

Abstract
|
|
|
The early disappearance of Collargol-P 131 and Evans blue from the circulation was rapid in the RES-stimulated rabbits but slow in the RESblocked and splenectomized rabbits, the disappearance being, however, not differed among the various groups at six hours after the administration of the indicators.
The uptake of Collargo I-131 was most active in the spleen, and in the spleneciomized animals the uptake . was most marked in the liver and the bone marrow which could be ascribed to the compensatory responses.
